Unplayable with OFFICIAL SONY PS5 CONTROLLER (SOLVED!! TURN OFF DS4!)

No haptic feedback

Sprinting doesnt work. I can only sprint for 2 seconds

Analog/dpad in menu is atrociously fast

What gives?

I am using ds4 as usual (my controller works for every other game I play)

I tried switching to steam input from default in controller steam settings and that also made zero difference other than masking button prompts with a (?) symbol.

EDIT: TURNS OUT YOU HAVE TO DISABLE DS4. This is the only game I own that makes me do that. Most games wont even work without ds4 enabled lol. Hope this helps someone

Yup, I'm experiencing the same thing as you are. I thought my controller broke so tested on different game and it works perfectly fine. So... yea... gotta wait for them to drop an update to fix lots of stuff, well nobody is perfect on first launch :l

Make sure you're not running anything like DSX or DS4Windows. After I shut down DSX, everything is working. Including controller audio, haptics, sprinting, etc.

did you disable the PS5 controller audio in windows? it won't work without it enabled.

this is untrue. the issue was DS4. I have audio disabled for controller and its fine.

But i don't have ds4 installed and i have the same problem,i use an xbox one controller

I have an xbox controller and i dont use any third party software and i have the same issue, any solutions ?
