Failed to initialize PlayStation PC SDK

It doesn't sign-in automatically, and when you try to do it manually in the main menu, I get this error. All other PS games automatically log in (I had Steam and PSN linked since HZD or even earlier)

same here. one post said to unlink account and then sign in but I have not tried it yet.

This worked for me, found it on Reddit:
"Go to the game folder and run pspcsdkruntimeinstaller.msi then go to C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc\PSPC_SDK\S22\2.13.00.01 and run pspcsdkappmrg.exe. run the game. the problem should be fixed. it fixed for me"

Excellent! Hopefully the Linux installer is patched soon to 1. run this app on first boot, 2. re-enable the multiplayer button.

On the contrary, deleting the folder C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc helped me. Because in other discussions they wrote that the PlayStation PC SDK application is to blame. By deleting the folder, a miracle happened: the game started!

I'm playing, the flight is normal. I hope it helps you too.

1. The button is only disabled on deck, not linux
2. The program does attempt to install, but fails, even manually, which is why its unsupported atm, valve will have to patch proton.

Interesting. When I go to C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc\PSPC_SDK\S22\2.13.00.01 the only thing I see is a runtime.dll. I have view hidden files on. So..do I have uninstall and reinstall again???

Well that sucks. Why is it that some can get it to run and others can't? Did Steam/Sony/Sucker Punch screw something up?
