I rarely skip things but I see no reason for that to not be option. Especially in cases of people that beaten the game multiple times and want to skip some of the unimportant stuff. I don't know what is that obsession of Sony of not allowing a skip button in cutscenes. Though I must admit I glad that you can pause cutscenes in their games, this is also a great boon.
Spider-Man games allow for skips. You just hit pause and select to skip cut scenes.
I don’t think it’s for every single one, but almost all scenes can be skipped in SM, SM MM, and SM2.
in the end I don't mind really. cutscenes aren't THAT long and I'm not on the run.
