How to Skip Cutscenes?

I played this game on the PS4. I just want to skip through the cutscenes and slice the mongols. How do I do this?

All of these people saying you can't skip cut scenes in Forbidden West when you can. There were only a few cut scenes I wasn't able to skip.

I will wait for skip-cutscenes mod before purchase. Reason for that is simple: I got 2 hours on Steam to check out how the game performs on my PC. I don't have time to lose an hour on the very introduction before open world become avalaible.

The game runs fine on PC.

Lol I played Forbidden West skipping unnecessary dialogues and cutscenes easily. Its press space and you don't have to finish the game.. GOT however i'm finding every thread on internet possible to do so.

Your point becomes entirely invalid for people going through the game a second or third time. The scenes in this game ARE long and many and I can fully understand people not wanting to sit through EVERY SINGLE ONE of them on a subsequent playthrough. This should NOT be an issue, just leave it up the the player's discretion whether they want to watch a scene or not. It's mind boggingly ridculous not to have this simple feature in a AAA title in this day and age.

i played this game 4 times... i am not gonna watch the same cutscenes 20 times in a row, plus i fully finished the game 2 times and im too unbothered to watch some boring cutscene where my character says "go hide somewhere" then theres a 5 minute pause before she says "thank you"

I rarely skip things but I see no reason for that to not be option. Especially in cases of people that beaten the game multiple times and want to skip some of the unimportant stuff. I don't know what is that obsession of Sony of not allowing a skip button in cutscenes. Though I must admit I glad that you can pause cutscenes in their games, this is also a great boon.

Spider-Man games allow for skips. You just hit pause and select to skip cut scenes.
I don’t think it’s for every single one, but almost all scenes can be skipped in SM, SM MM, and SM2.

cutscenes in this one are by design for the overall cinematic touch. I doubt they are going to change that. as much as I support gamers I also support developers for some more freedom.
in the end I don't mind really. cutscenes aren't THAT long and I'm not on the run.

you can't skip cutscene during first playthough. It's only available on new game +

The inability to skip cutscenes makes me seriously consider completely skipping scenes of optional content like saving hostages, especially when the reward is an actual joke. It has gotten to the point I would literally have offed my own horse to stop the horse nibbling post mission completion cutscenes, too, if it would help.

Yep i did the game 3times on console so I wanted to skip everything this time on PC . Seems like its the same as on consoles , only in Ng+

Same here a mod hopefully will fix this. I played on the ps5 a month back. Made some progress, but I don't want to watch the cut scenes again.
