I use ds4 and have no issues with any other game. this is balls
I am using an official ps5 controller wired in
Don’t do this. It’s unnecessary. Steam works with the PS4 and PS5 controllers without any need for anything else. Using DS4 is likely to cause you more problems.
If you are having controller problems, press Alt+Tab during gameplay to bring up the Steam Overlay, go to Controller Options and turn off Steam Input.
If you’re still having issues try restarting Steam or your PC
This 100%.
You do not need Third Party emulators anymore, at least for games that support SteamInput API.
Hello party ppl. Apologies if this isn't perfectly relevant.
I had this issue playing Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition on PC with a DualSense.
Trackpad click would work, but not directional swipe. Everything else was fine.
I was running the Horizon .exe as Admin. That's what "made it stop working" (or at least was a catalyst. Perhaps this speaks to a larger issue, I don't know - but my solution was to NOT run the game as Admin. Went back to working immediately.
You shouldn't be running a Video Game as admin anyways. It messes with a bunch of Steam stuff.
