I think it's time to upgrade your PC. I've read F16C issue addresses to another Sony game:
Horizon Zero Dawn - Forbidden West.
And I'm not sure about God of War
I can run games like Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2 etc. with no issues. Just silly really, especially when this game was marketed as being playable on many different setups.
Excuse you? Marketing on many different setups, where did you pull that from? There are minimum requirements and since you still haven't posted your CPU i'm going to assume it's a CPU that is at least 10 years old. Devs can work on other stuff improving the game instead of trying to fix an issue what is not an issue but clearly a user defect.
You can buy better CPU for less money than this game. You obviously got your priorities wrong if you can't afford a new CPU after 15 years but you do keep still buying the newest games.
