L3 problem

So I'm playing with a DualSense controller and I simply cannot sprint or gallop. I hold the button it works for a second and then it just changes back to normal walking. Any solve?

I have the same issue, I can't sprint or gallop with controller (xbox one). I can do it with keyboard. Don't have any third party app running

Yup same issue here. No 3rd party app running and cant sprint or gallop. Xbox Elite controller

Yep, same issue. Keyboard seems to mess up every now and then as well. I just want to use a controller!

Just found the solution. It's Steam's new "Big Picture Mode". Press the Xbox Button on your controller. Then once the GUI opens, select the menu button in the side bar then select "Exit Big Picture Mode"

Idk what's the issue. I'm facing the same thing with the Xbox controller with no additional software running. My game is pirated. So, steam big picture or anything like that isn't running.

I have this exact same issue but using XBOX Series X controller and I don't have any remap program. I thought my stick was broken but tested it in Witcher 3 and it works fine.

You just have to remove the gamepad related stuff from the .ini it looks like their steaminput implementation is messing up, game has native gamepad suport. Delete Everything under those two sections [INPUTS.Set_InGame] and [INPUTS.Set_Menus]
