L3 problem
So I'm playing with a DualSense controller and I simply cannot sprint or gallop. I hold the button it works for a second and then it just changes back to normal walking. Any solve?

Did you happen to enable Toggle Buttton Holds accidentally in Accessibility › Gamepad?

Then I have no idea, using Dualsense too, but no issue.
You can try enabling and disabling Steam input to see if anything changes.

I have this same issue, disabling Steam input does nothing to fix it.

Works fine on an Xbox controller but not PS5 controller.

So it seems to be a DSX problem. If I have that not running, it all works fine.

yep I tried enabling and disabling Steam input the sprint still doesn't work properly

Got the same problem with both controller dualsense and xbx
try on keybord and no problem
i find this very vibe killer i just dont want to play if i only walk and dont want to play keyboard on a TV screen

Sorry for all the replies. So make sure you're not running anything like DSX or DS4Windows. After I shut down DSX, everything is working. Including controller audio, haptics, sprinting, etc.

Having this issue with an xbox controller.. default settings, no additional software installed. Keyboard works fine.

This is really strange, I'm using Xbox controller (wireless, but also tried with cable) and I can sprint normally on foot, but I have the same problem as you when riding a horse, can't gallop

This should be obvious for any game that natively supports Dualsense controllers. Always turn off any mimicking software like Steam Input.
