Why do people even care about the banned countries?
Ghost of Tsushima won't be available in countries, where you cannot create a psn account. ( https://insider-gaming.com/countries-that-dont-have-psn/ )

I am wondering, why people care about it so much, because when I look at the countries listed in the above link, then those countries are just ignorable. These are countries you don't want to live anyway?

It's not like Canada or UK or Brasil is missing. So what is the hate against Sony's decision all about, because I am really happy to see more and more console ports coming to PC. I really hope, that Bloodborne Remastered 4k 60fps will come to Steam, too!

EDIT:
I know that people are getting extremely offended and triggered by this post, but let's be real: This is a +4 years old game that was even playable on a PS4, which was released 2013.

So if you live in one of those banned countries like in Afghanistan, Botswana, Togo, Uganda, Guyana, Iraq etc., then why don't you buy a much cheaper console and play this game on that console, instead of spending double the amount of money for a half decent gaming pc, which probably is half your whole earnings per year?

People are calling me unempathetic, ok, but why should I care about countries that have ♥♥♥♥♥♥, corrupt politics, where women have no rights or are traded for camels? I am not talking about countries like Latvia or Estonia, which is really sad for them, but then just buy a PS5?

They got encouraged by Sony making the change recently and it makes them feel morally superior.

I mean has anyone even looked at a list of those countries? Europe and Asia i could understand but half of them would be lucky to even have electricity nevermind a PC good enough to run it.

People are empathetic. Crazy concept, I know.

Because locking out half of Europe and a good chunk of Asia basically means cutting sales of this game on PC specifically by at least a third?

The older I get the more selfish I become. That’s the right way to be: worry about yourself and mind your own business.

Yes, a swathe of Europe and all of the Caribbean islands lack electricity. No one even knows what computers are in a place like the Bahamas or Estonia lol

None of these countries would lift a finger if the roles were reversed. Thats life...tons of things are banned in my country and nobody cares.

If you treat your fellow citizens with contempt then don't complain when it happens to you.

Sony is just being spiteful. I WILL NOT support such practices.

I have decided to boycott all Sony games and products until they change their attitude. That includes the PS5 also.

Kinda ties into the whole; first they came for the X, but I was not an X and so remained silent, then they came for the Y and I was not a Y so I remained silent, now they are coming for me and there is no one left to speak for me - thing.

We see where this could go and choose to speak up now rather than remain silent.
Ya I know, that saying originally applied to people being killed and this is just a game, but it's the same principle if not the same extent of consequences.

A concept entirely foreign to this man; no prizes for guessing where he's from.

Well I was just walking today through Tallinn, my home-city and thinking how nice it is. Ferraris enjoying the first warm weathers and so on... Well I guess we are third world then.

Ah yes, some of the countries are from the EU and banning the sale of something to a EU member state while you sell to others is a EU law violation. Hopefully someone takes Sony to court over this blunder. Regardless, I'm playing the game rn but still think Sekiro is better, thanks for hooking me up Tim Sweeney
