Yeap, same thing with AMD. Went back to older version of driver and the game stopped crashing

Ye same here. But I were at 50 degrees the first time, and about 165 fps. Not 4k though. Is it also happening by the bridge with the standoff for you?

Nope, while I was sneaking through the village looking for your sword. I was able to get past that point after rebooting the game but it just crashed during a cutscene.

same problem

I'm hardstuck on that bridge, can't progress. Tried to get past it like 5-6 times already. I'll wait for a patch and refund if it doesn't fix it.

This is the error you get with high-end Intel CPUs on crappy motherboards. It is plagueing a ton of games. Mostly Unreal Engine, but not exclusively.

Of course other things can cause this error as well, but if you have a high-end Intel CPU from the latest generations 13xxx/14xxx then you should definitely look up the voltage issues that are rampant on these CPUs.

Same problem here, running a Ryzen 5 5600x with RX6900XT, temps are normal. Never had this problem with any game before

I have a 7600x, good to know though.

I think I'm at that exact same cutscene as you, tried reinstalling GPU drivers and rebooting and reinstalling, still the same.

7600x and 4070 Super

It was the one after you choose your horse for me. Rebooting the game after the crash got me through it though.

same thing on 7800x3d 7800xt

I'm playing this on a 1600x and 7800xt at 1080p 144hz and I'm also suffering this error and temps is also normal and I have never had a game crash with this error before so I consider this a bug in the games graphic engine that's triggering this error. I started suffering this issue after the first Standoff so I'm going to wait for a hotfix to come out to resolve this issue before I resume playing the game.

In that case I don't really have many suggestions, sorry. When I had my old RTX 3070 Ti I would get this error in some Unreal Engine games (Callisto Protocol with RT enabled / Immortals of Aveum) when I ran out of VRAM.

Now I have a 16 GB 4070 Ti Super and I have not seen that error since upgrading. I have a Ryzen 9 5900X and no issues with this game for 2 hours played.

Try capping your frame rate to 60 fps. If that helps it is probably your GPU being pushed too hard if you run it uncapped. This game could trigger errors even though others don't.

Device hung implies either driver issue or unstable overclock, it literally means the driver crashed, not the game and usually driver crashes due to either of above.

Yep, if its happening across such a diverse array of setups running new drivers, without throttling, and at good FPS, there's really no doubt that the devs have some work to do.
