How's performance on Medium Range PCs?

I have the below:

RTX 2070
i5-9600K
16 GB DDR4
2560x1440p

Playing on a lot of High settings just turned Volumetric Fog and Shadows to Low, and honestly after 5 hours (three playing sessions), it has been fine. I played 2.5 hours straight last night with no issues...

This is definitely something to keep in mind, like going high to very high is very much minute details being a liiiittle more crisp for the most part, this is one of those games where if you can run it significantly better with medium-high, just go for that.

I'm running the game on a 1660Ti, its really decent, I play at 1440p high preset, without tweaking the preset at all I got consistent 40fps, after turning on FrameGen I didn't drop from 60 and got around 80-90 average, I'm sure 1080p would be even better. but my game crashed early in the story due to driver issues, haven't had any other issues, and haven't played since updating the drivers so hopefully the drivers positively effect performance, side note though, Tried Legends mode out after the update (playing rn) and it felt buttery in the Legends tutorial at least (didn't turn afterburner back on yet).

60fps with all settings on High using a 2060 Super, I7-10700K, and 32gb RAM on a SSD.

If you have a 8GB card, don't raise Texture Quality beyond High or you'll run into the VRAM leak issue. Other than that, even a potato card should be able to run the game with some tweaks.

3060 is perfect for this game because it supports using FSR 3 frame generation with DLSS.

On my old RTX3080, it is fine on high graphics settings - except when suddenly it isn't. Frame rates abruptly drop to just a few frames per second (does not seem to be affected by complexity of the scene itself). Typically this happens when reloading the same area after dying.

id consider my computer pretty midrange except a newer gpu - 3070ti - and im running it at 1440p on max settings and getting 90ish fps.

a very pleasant experience after dd2's tanking down to 25fps in town on low settings.

Overall I found this game runs about as smooth as cyberpunk 2077 (rtx off) on high settings. Maybe a hair better.

I want to say it runs better than sekiro, but my memory isnt recent for that one.
