For people with gpus like a rtx 3060 and whatever the amd equivalent is.

This is what I'm wondering too.

I'm about ready to bite the bullet on it but I guess they didn't give out review codes because no major publication released benchmarks or anything, which sucks

Push (have the same gpu, so im curious)
I got a 2060 Super and while on Very High my GPU hits 99% usage it remains in the reasonable temperaturss and I get well over 80 FPS at all times. I'd say it's great.

Currently playing on RTX 3070 Ryzen 5 5600 on 1080p very high preset (only shadows on high) DLSS Quality - Initial 20 Mins fps between 65-95, After getting into open world so far mostly stays above 80-85.

3060 here, on high settings with dynamic resolution scale on 126 fps, running pretty well for me so far.
Majima's 500 Yen May 16, 2024 @ 10:32am
I'm running a 3050 and get 45-50FPS on default "very high" @1080p with DLSS balanced at 60. If you tweak some stuff you can run it at 60. Just don't use FSR Frame Gen, it doesn't work well in the cinematic cutscenes.
(there are some parts of the game that seem to be way more intense than others, so expect a few frame drops. Typically flashbacks.)

EDIT: tried setting the dynamic resolution scaling higher, frame rate improved without a loss in visual quality. Certainly a lot of tweaking could be done.

Ryzen 7 7800x3d
3050 8gb
32gb ram

i can fix her May 16, 2024 @ 10:35am
im using laptop and High Graphic Preset by Default.

Ryzen 5 7640HS
RTX 3050 6GB
16GB RAM

without DLSS or Upscaling i couldn't get into 60FPS, mostly at 30~40FPS. But when im using AMD FSR 3.0 Quality and Frame Generation it boost my FPS to 85~90FPS.
R5600 and a AMD 6650XT, 2560x1080 high preset and bumped shadows to very high, screen space shadows, SSR, DOF on ultra… the games is hovering from 75ish to 80ish… I just locked it to 60, cuz honestly don’t need any more. 1440p ultra wide runs at about 45ish but as far as in my monitor the 1080p image quality with the FS3 Native AA it’s ASTONISHINGLY Crispy… so honestly 1440p wasn’t needed in this case, game runs beautiful!!!

Edit:
I’m tuning native btw, FSR3 Native AA isn’t doing any downscaling as far as I know, and can see plus TAA runs basically the same so yeah, but that FSR3 AA does magic.

I bit the bullet and bought it.

Played for about an hour. No problems so far.

I have an RTX 3060/Ryzen 5 360/16gb ram

Everything defaulted to High, had a couple split second frame drop but other than that it runs smooth, it looks good, and no crashes. So far.

I'm on a laptop with a 4090 (notebook) and 64GB, and a i9-13980HX. If I lower resolution from 3200x2000 to 1920x1200 and then Set it to the Very High preset, I get around 60 to 100fps. Unfortunately, I also get a LOT of freezing. That is, the game will just stop -- freeze frame -- for about one to two seconds, then continue on. It'll also make a godawful buzzing alarm clock type of sound and, often, the audio during a fight will be missing. It'll come back, eventually, but trying to fight without any sound cues sucks. The freeze framing seems to happen about once per minute or so, depending on what is going on.

If I lower it to High presets, I get about 75 to 120 fps, but the other problems still remain.

I've never had such a problem before. I generally play at 3200x2000 and maintain at least 60fps in modern games (for instance, Alan Wake II) and if I drop the resolution down to 2560x1600, I get even better performance. This is all at or near the highest settings for such games.

When that isn't happening, the performance is great and the presentation is stunning.

I'll likely stop playing, until they fix these performance issues.

Playing on a 2070super, i7 8700 & 32 gb ddr4 ram, its holding 60 fps on high settings in 1080p. So yes

Guys do you have any recommended settings for RTX 3050 Laptop 4GB VRAM?
Sniper-san May 21, 2024 @ 2:20pm
80fps flat, 1080p, mostly medium settings (theres VERY minor details between the settings regardless)

old ass rig, i7-6700k, 1660 Super.

want better performance? unbloat your PC and overclock a little bit.
