One sidequest has you helping a man mourn his lover in secret; he was closeted and seeing a man on the side behind his wife's back and needs Jin's help to mourn his death in a manner that won't alert the families. Jin is sympathetic and helps him out.
And, Lady Masako was cheating on her husband with one of her servant girls. Jin doesn't particularly care if I recall correctly, he's basically like "Eh, life is complicated".
