Performance?
Any word how the performance of the port is? (Like early reviews or anything?)

My big concern is just how bad ports usually are.

How about you read on the store page about that one, which has been there since it was put there.

The company porting this one apparently did Horizon, and that works flawless accoriding to those who played it.

Nixxes have been rather good with the past games with porting

Nixxes is the best porting studio there is today. No worries.

There's a picture it says 60 across all resolutions.

How will unlocked framerate affect performance?

Hmm Nixxes ports haven't exactly been all that great. Their Horizon had some notable negative points regarding performance but, was sufficient to be decent Digital Foundry felt. Deus Ex was at launch er... Yeah, let's just not go there. Same for Ratchet and Clank (still suffering with some very severe bugs and issues to this day, and the DirectStorage bug never fully fixed either despite being a major component). Marvel's Avenger probably has issues but with the sheer negativity of that game's reception its like searching for a needle in a haystack to find out what the complaints are all for.

I'd say, honestly, they're decent but they often miss the mark and could be better. They're not "horrible" though like, say, The Last of Us port or the infamous Batman or Dungeon Lord's releases (ouch).

Unfortunately, the system requirements don't help us know if you can hit 144 with your specs but there is DLSS/FSR support so there is hope.

Thanks, lots of info.

Even if the performance was bad, the huge fans won't admit it. They'll still give it a positive review. They're also the same people who think 30 and 60 fps is okay in 2024. Wait for a tech review from like Digital Foundry since they actually tell and showcase the truth.

Even if PC peformance is bad, it will still look and run better than it does on the PoorStation 5. Just like TLOU did and just like Arkham Knight did. Console gamers wish their games ran as good as our bad ports.

I think it depends on your specs because they guy that talked about horzion and ratchet and clank ran being not so good ran pretty good for me day 1. horzion i can get 60-80 fps at 1440p on a 3060 and r&c runs at 144 and it has a ton of stuff going on.

60 is "fine", 30 is not. It s a slippery slope speaking objectively vs just simply elitist.

I am expecting 60 fps, and maybe even better. It's a bonus if it can go higher. I wait for a few patches first, just to be on the safe side.

Since Nixxes did such a great job on Horizon: Forbidden West I expect the same for this game.

Performance is amazing, 165 locked FPS at 1440p Ultrawide with no upscaling and no frame gen, all other settings maxed.
