1. Ask clairvoyant
2. Wait until system requirements are shown
3. Buy game on release and do refund if it won't work
4. Wait after game release. Some people will test game on different GPU with different settings on youtube. Make decision after that
It is unlikely that you will be able to run the game. On top of likely being well below what the game will want for system requirements. You are also playing on a laptop which just makes the situation worse.
I wouldn't count on playing it on that machine.
The game is ported to run on PC in 2024 with DLSS technology and ultra wide screen mode - it isn't ported to run like in 2021.
That is the problem people like OP are gonna have to face. The min requirements are predicted to be 16gb of RAM, which is already enough to disqualify OP. Minimum GPU is predicted to be something like a 1650, but lets err on something like a 1660TI just to be safe. Which of course naturally crushes a 1050TI in even a desktop scenario. Worse still OP has a laptop which is nearly half of what a desktop is capable of.
In short, No.
OP will not be able to run this game. Not at anything playable. We are talking 720p low 20-30fps if the game just doesn't crash outright due to lack of resources.
ty for this, i wanna preorder but ya honestly i think option 4 here would be the smart thing to do
im saving up for a place so worst case, i play it in like a year or two after i do that and can afford to upgrade my ♥♥♥♥♥
either way thanks for the responses
nevertheless it's being ported by Nixxes and they are Veterans unlike Iron Galaxy amateurs
Two points against an adequate gaming experience for your setup :
(1) RAM (OS alone eats around 2-4 GB physical RAM)
(2) A 8 year old mobile GPU with 4 GB VRAM.
With a lot of traffic on the pagefile maybe up to max 30fps on low settings at 720p.

I'm hella curious, how this game will be run it? xD
Nice, im no expert but i think itll run good for you. The 1660 blows the crap out of my card and the 960, i bet youll get 1080p 60fps or maybe 50ish fps but still good
Ya, i ran god of war and the game has similar min reqs but youre right, fsr was cranked and i only got 30 fps
Honestly tho, im fine with low res 30 fps, i used to play a lot of nintendo so ive never been picky about graphics
The Irony of the game having 8GB min requirements and a GTX 960 4GB.
Guess the OP is in luck for 720p (with FSR upscaling most likely just fine to 1080p)
