Weird bugs/glitches and crashing
Hey there phellas,
so basically ive been having a lot of problems with the game recently. Ive been encountering weird audio glitches, such as parts of the audio that will just stop working sometimes (music stops but voices work and vice versa) and visual glitches such as missing textures. Some textures take a really long time to load, such as when in the gear menu, both the character model and the icons for equipment/abilities take really long to load. Also, sometimes my horse has just not been loading at all and whenever i call him, floating reins appear. Sometimes, when characters are supposed to talk to each other, the speech has taken a really long time to load, especially in 'cutscenes'. In this case, they just stand there looking at each other for a couple of minutes until the audio loads, which sometimes happens multiple times during a single conversation. The worst one, however, has been when the game crashes, seemingly out of nowhere. Before the crash, I hear a USB device disconnection noise and the game halts. This then crashes not only the game, but my entire PC, causing an automatic reset. Due to the reset, i do not have any error code to report unfortunately. Im running a 4070 which should be more than able to run this game at basically max settings. Cheers in advance.

for the game crashing you can see the dump on the log it does, wont give a solution but you can see if it crashed while accessing some specifc component, like the GPU or the audio resource.
for stuff like loading textures first thing that comes in mind is the file streaming, are you installing the game in a dedicated drive or its the same as the OS ? it have enough read/write speed bandwith ? just as comparision ff7 rebirth is very heavy and we end up with soft lock , because stuff doesnt load or even blackscreens all the time, the very first workaround was change the direct storage dlls of the game which was faulty.
one problem trying to guess is because some problem can be cause or consequence of something else. for that matter benchmarks can help to test each step , the game doesnt have so you could do in a selective way of running the game in the lowest quality / resolution possible just to see if the problems will be there. if they do theres more chance to be some faulty HW or OS management of the HW
