They are not alike except for the fact they take place in japan.

I don´t play dark souls or souls-like. This game is not hard after you learn to play. It takes a couple of hours to master the parry/dodge mechanics and then you´ll waltz through mongols like there is no tomorrow.

This is not harder than Shadows of Mordor, Witcher 3, The Batman series, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Assassin´s Creed or any action game that has come out recently.

You will die, especially at the start and then you´ll learn the ropes. There is no downside to dying. You just respawn from last autosave and the autosaves are very frequent.

There are also difficulty sliders from Easy to Very Hard so you can adjust the difficulty to your liking.

no, if you play like me at the standard difficult you become unkillable in a few hours, its like assassins creed but even a bit more boring and repetitive atm.
