Bokken Tournament: how to win against Sao?

It took a while to find the right way to defeat the first 3 opponents. But I can't win against Sao. Is there a good way to beat him?

Dodge, dodge and dodge then he does a precision counter or is like tired for 2 seconds which lets me hit him. some times its 3 dodges or 4 in a row.
