Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk are both "DEI, woke" and sold millions.

You know why they sold millions? Because those games were not made for the sake of lecturing people and reminding their players about X Culture war irl. Diversity in those games were not forced and were cleverly used to tell a compelling story exactly like gaming before 2020. Diversity is not bad but DEI definitely is because DEI essentially forces game companies to insert and force diversity and inclusion to their games to the point that it butchers the writing and world building. for the sake of ESG points and to appeal to the "modern audience" that doesn't exist.
