Should've called it Complete Edition or something.
When I bought lord of the rings movie, I always get the extended version because director cut is just shorter version of movie.
But the Irony is for a game, it's as if the DLC already existed and they just removed it, as opposed to a DLC being additive. That's how I understand it, complete edition would make more sense.
Director's cut is the full base game, plus the Iki expansion, plus several enhancements to the base game such as Japanese lip sync. You are missing nothing if you buy this version. In fact, this is the only version of the game you can buy on PC.
