Massive FPS drop

I thought it was an hardware issue, or some malware, i tried everything, but it seems that i am not the only one online
I average 150 fps on Ultra, at 1440p... but after around 1 hour of gameplay, my fps suddenly drop to 30 and stay there until i restart the game, is anyone else having this issue? i saw on some forums online that many people are experiencing this, any fix or word from sony?

Yep. Just fixed it. Turn off the real-time protection on your antivirus and anti-malware apps. You might not like doing that and may be able to try and turn it off for just the game, but it worked brilliantly for me last night! And I was finally able to string together 4 hours today (with zero issues) and finally beat the game.

Pretty much the same for me, I have a consistent 180-200 fps but after a few hours I get drops to like 40-30 every minute or 2

Same problem here, after 1 hour of gameplay, sometimes even less, the FPS drops drastically. GPU usage as well, stays between 60-70%

same. Lowering everything to low and then back to max (or whatever the initial settings were) gets the FPS back, but the gameplay feels choppy after that regardless, and FPS drops are frequent. What's strange is that I played this game when it first launched with the same PC and never had any issues in 70 hours. Playing it now and it's almost a disaster. Patches should have fixed stuff, but it seems they broke stuff for me. I expect this'll be the state of the port from now on.
