Getting tired of constant thunder storms

Yes, I know you get bad weather when you have a stealth playstyle.
Yes, I know the flute can change the weather.
But the weather turns bad again just a minute or two after playing the flute.
I wouldn't mind it if it wasn't for the constant repetitive sound of thunder.

Please don't change the weather so quickly. Let it stay sunny for longer when I make it sunny with the flute.

Yeah, it's a little excessive that it's always storming or raining. Being able to change day/night would be nice too.

Everything is just changing way too fast.
I'm trying to play at night without using a headset, and it's so annoying that the sound of thunder is basically always there.

I've only seen snow so far in Act 3 if that helps :)

I think it has something to do with the mystic style "Dance of Wraith" where one of the charm giving Jin the chance to lightning strike the mates of the opponent to whom Jin is using Dance of Wraith. So, if the game AI knows that Jin is coming up against a group of enemies or there is a lot of them in the vicinity, lightning and thunderstorm will occur.
I personally don't mind the thunder and lightning in NG+ when I am flushed with resources. But during sratch games, while I am farming for flowers, bamboos and the like, I do hate it as it does make it a touch harder to notice them from a distance.
