Boring after 20 hours...

The only thing I enjoy after maxing out "stances" is the 1v1 boss fights every now and again. This game is boring after awhile.

- small edit: It is a beautiful game with an interesting combat style, just not my cup of tea.

Like basically every open world game nowadays..witcher 3 was the only big open world game that kept me interested till the end because of the story.
Here im in act 2 and already started rushing through the story just to finish it.
All the side things to do are so repetitive..
All the fox dens all the camps its all the same..ubisoft formula

Yeah even after 10 hours. It's definitely not a game you play for gameplay reasons imo

im in act 2 as well and feel the same, cant even convince myself to push through main story,

speaking of ubisift formula, i wasnt this board even in late AC games!

so yeah OP, it is indeed boring after a few hours

As said it the same as any open word game. Base assaults and busywork. However the combat here is interesting enough to keep me going.

A little way into act 2 and will be mainly only doing story and character sidequests from this point on I think. 22 hours in, not sure if I will end up finishing...

Yeah, I'm around half way through act 2 and noticing the reused assets more and more (every village basically looks the same), as well as every enemy encounter following the same formula. It doesn't help that most of the quests aren't very different from each other.

So far, act 1 was a lot more interesting. I'm hoping it picks up in act 3 again.

It is a great game and I find it far less boring than Assassins Creed. However, it does get repetitive at times. The scenery is great though and I am always curious to see what gear I will find next scattered throughout the world.

This is the first game in what will hopefully become a series. With that in mind it has some of the best melee combat I have seen in a game. Melee combat is always just hack and slash. This is not and the katana has a certain feeling that no other game provides.

I hope the next game will offer less repetition in the side quests. They have a great foundation, it just needs to evolve more in the future. More varying side quests, more unique building styles, and more enemy variation to name a few.

I really like the combat, just trying to get perfect takedowns (eliminating groups as fast as you can without getting hit) feels pretty cool.

yep, most of the comments have valid criticisms, the biggest thing it has going for it is the setting.

So you think is boring after 10 hours ?
I have 70 hours or so in it now and i still find it fun
We all see it in different ways luckily. I think boss fights is incredible boring
