Ice cracking sound in the last mission

I have loud ice cracking sounds all around the last mission (eternal blue sky/khotun khan fight). What kind of bug is this?
I think its supossed to be artillery cannon sounds by youtube walktroughts but in my game they were constant annoying cracking sounds and too loud on the mix. The sounds stayed past the first boss fight till the fight in the boat.

Edit: Didnt go away after reloading, restarting the game, etc.
Only mission that did this.

I had this too last night when I completed the main game.

Was really odd, glad it's not just me, hope they fix it.

Yeah I had the same issue but I just played trough it (reloading didn't work for me aswell)

Clearly a bug. Should be reported since it went undetected till now. Im not ussing any special sound software or dolby third party app that can give conflicting issues myself.

Had the same issue and it lasted through the whole mission, was annoying but I managed to ignore it and completed it, after that it was all back to normal.

Can confirm here also, lasted trough the whole mission, i reloaded the save and even restarted the game , 100% a bug

I just encountered the same thing. It's annoying that there hasn't been a fix found yet.
