Pros and Cons for Ghost Of Tsushima on pc
As someone who was a ps fan just 3 years later after it started, I'm a loyal customer to the ps, and in my opinion I think GOT Should be in pc, that's just my opinion, and i will be giving you the pros and cons of each option, the options are:

1. Keeping it only to ps

2. Expanding it to pc

Pros:

Encourages brand loyalty among PlayStation users.

Provides unique content that can attract players to the PlayStation ecosystem.

Can be a competitive advantage in the console gaming market.

Cons:

Limits the game's reach to players outside the PlayStation user base.

Misses out on potential revenue from sales on other platforms.

May not fully capitalize on the game's market potential.

2. Expanding to PC (and other platforms):

Pros:

Reaches a wider audience, potentially increasing sales and player base.

Expands revenue opportunities through sales on multiple platforms and additional monetization avenues.

Allows players to experience the game on their preferred platform, enhancing overall
accessibility.

Cons:

Could dilute exclusivity and impact brand loyalty among PlayStation users.

Requires additional resources for porting, support, and compatibility across different platforms.

May face challenges in maintaining a consistent experience across various hardware configurations.

Conclusion:

Ultimately, the "better" option depends on the goals and priorities of the game developers and publishers. If the primary focus is on maximizing revenue and reaching a broader audience, expanding to PC and other platforms can be a strategic move. However, if the goal is to strengthen brand loyalty within the PlayStation ecosystem and leverage exclusivity as a competitive advantage, keeping the game exclusive to PlayStation may be preferred.

In the case of "Ghost of Tsushima," the decision to expand to PC suggests that the developers and publishers saw value in reaching a wider audience and tapping into the PC gaming market, balancing the benefits of exclusivity with the advantages of multi-platform availability.

"Brand loyalty"

Why a PC user would want to join Playstation ecosystem? Is not the same than consuming their games. Also, paying for online play? Hell no.

Consoles are for people who want exclusives or a low cost system. Probably consoles will be replaced once high end phones becomes cheaper than current price of consoles (~6 years from now).

Nintendo is the only company who hasn't released their games to PC legally. Probably because it threats their very existence. If you had options, why someone would choose low tier Nintendo Switch over other better options?

The only reason that Playstation or Xbox, releases their games on PC is because the cost of porting a game pays off within a year or so. After that is profit.

There are no pros or cons, just more games available on Steam.

I said in my opinion it should be on pc too, however based from the "fake fans" as I call them, it just somehow bothers em that more people will be able to play this beautiful game, so I included this con too

I still did em, since I thought it mattered to be there, but the better option is for it to go on pc. Why do you think it reached TOP 5 in selling in the first hours of it, and those were PRE PURCHASES

Game companies like Xbox and Sony make more money selling games than they do on selling their consoles. They have said this repeatedly. Why WOULDN'T they make all games available on all platforms to start off with.

With the exclusivity, it actually makes less people buy it and wait to see the reviews of the games. You limit the number of already limited players willing to buy the game until they see if the devs ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up.
As the consumer who got it on PS and PC I don't see cons.
You could use Steam Deck or laptop
You could mod game (including improving textures)
You don't need to repurchase PS6 edition
No worries about backward compatibility
Online is free

I did not do a pros and cons of the actual game, I did pros and cons of ps decision on releasing it on pc, and it reached top 5 sellers in a few hours just by pre purchases, so I did not do anything bad. And also I never said that they shouldn't make their games come to pc too, I think it's a great idea but some games people will not buy since some are bad, but GOT coming to pc was a very good move of ps
there is only a pro:
more people have access to the game

gamers for gamers and gamers for games

corpos don'T care about you, just your money

other gamers care about you

I see no valid cons for PC other than ps fans crying for exclusivity
