I used to play on PS4 and PC and the DS4 wasn't always recognized. Now only PC. But in the game, the layout of the Xbox controller was then displayed, press B instead of circle and that led me to reach for the Xbox controller.
Btw: I also have smaller hands. The DS5 is supposed to be a bit bigger.
But the functions with the addatpive triggers sound interesting. And the DS5 is recognized correctly by Steam and most games.
I'll probably give it a try.
Thank you.
They are 70 dollars so you gotta ask yourself; is having an extra controller with new features something i wanna spend that money on or not?
furthermore having used a switch controller which also offers Gyro. this one also works great for that and doesn't have the annoying pairing difficulties that the switch pro controller has on PC.
Every time i try using my ps5 controller I either have to use it plugged in or with the standard BT, and the BT is too laggy imo. Its too much of a hassle and not convenient.. Sony should consider making a PC dongle as well for their devices now that they are going the PC route.
I use "DS4Windows" with different profiles.
Example: For shooter i´ve additionally assigned [L1] to activate the gyroscope as long as the button is held down. You then don't aim with the stick but with the entire controller itself.
It's even more precise than with the mouse.
Anyway, sure dude. Enjoy the game!
It depends on whether lighting, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback is worth the price for you. You will also need to go wired if you want to take full advantage of these features. But I have to say that the wired part hasn’t really bothered me and is well worth it for the improvement to the overall feel.
Best solution against occuring stickdrift is using a controller with hall effect sensors instead of a potentiometer.
