which dub you choosing yall english or japanese

hi yall i really don't know which is best to listen english voice over or japanese
what do you think yall is best?

All boils down to preference, to be completely honest. Personally, I prefer the English VO. Yeah, I get it. How 'uncultured' of me, right? LOL

Japanese VO in this game sounds too anime-ish to me. It's not bad, but I'd rather they sound less exaggerated like in Japanese movies.

english dub. its too hard to read and play games at the same time for me during action sequences. Plus the english dub is actually really good.

I played with Japanese audio and English subs on Playstation. It was pretty awesome, felt more authentic. It's the only way to go, really. I watch Das Boot with German audio. The English dub is plain silly.

Japanese lip sync.

I would really bet on original language "tone" being more on "the spot" of what developers wanted.

Bascially if you want the true japanese experience since it is in japan, choose japanese.
If you only care about playing the game without having to read except if you know japanese like i do and probably plenty of others choose English VA, it's not bad it just doesn't fit for me imo.

I was originally going to go with the Japanese VO, but after reading your post I decided to watch some comparisons on youtube and am fully in the English camp now. I might try the Japanese VO on my second run though.

I would just like to inform you that the lip sync issue with the Japanese VO has already been fixed. So if that's what turned you off, then it shouldn't anymore. Just saying because some of the videos showing the comparison between the two VOs might be from the older version of the game, before the lip sync issue was fixed.

Well, there still is. If you don't speak or understand the language, you won't be able to understand what the peasants are talking about amongst themselves - things that happen in-game, rumors, silly rumors about you, etc. They contribute to the immersion. Well, at least to me.

English for my first playthrough, maybe when get comfortable with the mechanics and gameplay loop , ill switch it to Japanese.
