They just chose to release fair part of their games exclusively on Playstations since people on PC don't seem to like to pay for their games, as seen from a lot of posts on these discussions.

Sony Entertainment is a US corporation and the US is not an EU member state so these laws simply don't apply to them. They only apply to EU member nations.
