Crossplay abilities unclear

I play on PS4 (waiting for the PS5 pro), and even though the Legends online mode is pretty active still, I was excited to get PC players jumping online to play, then I read this:

"If you play Ghost of Tsushima on PS4, you will only be able to group with other PS4 players in the multiplayer mode Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. The game does not support cross-platform play between PS4, PS5, and PC

The PS5 version of the game, titled Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, was released in August 2021 and includes the Iki Island expansion
. However, PS4 and PS5 players are still separated in the multiplayer mode.

So does this mean only PC players will be able to play with PC player, PS5 with PS5 asnd PS4 with PS4?

No crossplay from what I can tell, but as you said, it's not clearly mentioned, so the only way we can find out is to try when it comes out.

You also could've just checked Sucker Punch Productions's Twitter for the answer to your question.

It's going to have initial support for crossplay (they didn't specify what that entails). Also, it will have an opt (in or out) feature for the PS4 / PS5 players (maybe, PC too?).

except its not those players currently ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and crying like babies on steam, its people from countries where PSN is allowed

Actually you are wrong there. Ps4 and Ps5 players can play together, i've done this since i bought the game after legends was out for a while.
And PC, PS4 and PS5 can also play together, it features full cross-play.
