Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT

Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT

SSD Required.
It's getting crazy that people are trying to act like you can't play a game without an ssd, and tricking people into thinking this to be true when it isn't at all. Does a SSD have quicker loading times, yes. To say that its required though to play your game is completely false. This games specifications claim that it is required to only play this game with an SSD to be able to play the game with good performance. It's an actual lie.

texture streaming in open worlds requires efficient deliver of data throughput
whenever anyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about stuttering you can bet they're humping a 10 year old HDD
His point is "but he can play on a HDD" - This is correct.
"The requirements are therefore a lie." - This isn´t correct if you understand that the developer want players to experience a game in the way the developer had in mind.

Epilogue : Thoughts are free. Also is the free will. If it is a lie to him because he accept a picture slideshow as a good gaming experience then it´s fair enough to me.
Agreed should be able to run it on WIndows XP and ship on floppy disks to.

Lol - What about Java so anyone can play it
SSD is strongly recommended. Never install games on a mechanical hard drive.
Bro never played a new game on an old HDD, where ♥♥♥♥ cant load in fast enough. Clown.

Never install anything on HDD.
Firmware bug on Seagate - 3TB trashed.
SMART on Seagate : "I am fine, i am fine, i am oooh i am dead out of the sudden" 2TB trashed.

Mechanical mediums are insecure - Use solid state instead.
If the game is a port of the PS5 version, which it's looking like it is, playing this on a HDD is going to be a bad time. But hell, if you want to try you luck and experience it closer to what it was like on PS4 then go ham.

Expect any and every game that is a port on the current Gen console to require an SSD; it'll be worse next Gen, where you'll require NVMe only I'm sure.

Probably a gen 3 or 4 one so they can use Direct Storage

My m.2 samsung ssd with 7000mb/s read and 5000 mb/s write was 120$.

If you cant afford that, youre a loser.
Samsung SSD 990 Pro NVMe and your comment was arrogant, stupid and unneccesary.
Not everyone could afford proper tech. That doesn´t mean that YOU are special. :steambored:
Why wouldn't you have an SSD if you play games on PC Lmao... They are extremely cheap now compared to 14 years ago, they load games and your operation system in seconds. HDDs are great for storing Data, but as a boot drive and game drive, those days are long gone.

instead of replying to all of the people who are not understanding the subject matter, i just blocked a lot of you. If you're not smart enough to understand the topic, then i dont have time to listen.

What do you want from people? We all reacted to your first post. And instead of understanding. You just call everyone stupid because it doenst fit in what you wanted?

What do you want? Is SSD required yes. Can you play on a HDD. Probably. But dont complain when you have it on HDD that it is laggy and doesnt work right. Because that is what will happen. Hence the minimum and required hardware.

Everyone told you why you should install i on a SSD. And why the developers are not lying. If you want to play on a potato you are free to do so. But dont complain about it and tell people they are stupid. Because they tell you. You should use SSD like the developer said.

I guess.. Have fun with your sildeshow.

Let put it this way for the OP(Dunno if he reads this since im stupid and im blocked). SSD is required to have a smooth and good gaming experience like the developer intended. Using not an SSD. Is at your own choice. But it isnt the official experience the developer intended.

So dont complain if it doesnt work.
