Unable to buy the game, yet PSN is available in my country

Hey I live in Serbia, and been waiting for this game to come to PC for a while.
But for some reason even tho I have a PlayStation account, based in my country, and I can log in and buy games for PlayStation there (https://www.playstation.com/sr-rs/). Game is no longer available for me to purchase.
Was really looking forward to this game, didn't even know it had multiplayer... Honestly I don't even care for it, all I'm looking forward to was the single-player story campaign.

So to summarize:
- have a PSN account
- PSN available in my country
- still got banned from playing the game

As for the global situation I think this is bad for everybody, not just me. In my case someone forgot to check newest list of PSN available countries, so I can't play the game because of bureaucracy.
But yeah, I don't thing anyone wanted to play Ghost of Tsushima for its MP. Yet here is half of the PC world player-base being denied their right to be a gamer and a customer.

It's basically restricted on a technicality. Because you technically can't select Serbia when signing up for PSN. But you can sign up with say, Slovenia, and breach TOS. But this is something PS support unofficially supports and advises. So the lines are completely blurred, and the ban is INCREDIBLY arbitrary. At that point, just sell the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

By the way, here's a Reddit thread from a player in Egypt that *just* asked Playstation about creating an account in an unsupported region. This is still their response.

Everyone living in any unsupported region can presumably do this. Except for those where the Playstation website itself is blocked, but I don't know if such places exist. The likes of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, etc... are certainly NOT among them.

that is a separate thing, this is about getting delisted cause yeah the psn has blacklisted that country. to create a psn account you just go to whatever country's store lets you make a psn account and it's best to do do without vpn or else you break the law

Steam's reasoning for auto-refunding the game is as follows;

"The publisher of this game is now requiring a secondary account to play portions of this game – and this account cannot be created from your country."

This was in the email that was sent to those of us who pre-ordered the game in regions where the game is now delisted. It's also false. A PSN account *can* be created from our country, as well as other "unsupported" countries.

So there should be no delisting. We can play the "portions of the game" that are supposedly restricted. There should be no issue.

How? We're literally talking about the same thing. The OP in that thread is creating an account from an unsupported region. Not a banned one.

Tako da ono sto Steam kaze u email-u refund-a nije tacno. Ljudi u Srbiji mogu lako da registruju nalog i konektuju u dostupnim igrama.

Hvala ti Salvation, iskoristio sam informacije koje si iskopao i opet poslao poruku steam support-u u nadi da mi nesto odgovore, zato sto su me do sada ignorisali, nisam nesto previse optimistican ali moramo da probamo na sve nacine da pritisnemo Sony i Valve da ponovo razmotre situaciju koju su napravili.

I sent a ticket to support the moment my forced refund went through (Friday night). Still waiting for a response. Should definitely get as many Serbian players as possible to send in their complaints. Hope Valve & Sony listen.

Steam Support mi je odgovorio. Kaze da istrazuju problem i da ce mi javiti/azurirati tiket kad imaju nove informacije. Nadajmo se da ce biti nesto od toga!

Da pojasnim, u tiketu sam im rekao da mi je GoT refundiran preko moje volje i da vise ne mogu da ga kupim, i naknadno sam im rekao da ja u stvari imam PSN koji mogu da konektujem. Cak sam im i poslao dokaz u okviru screenshot-a iz Spider-Man-a, u kojoj imam PSN linkovan.
