Funnily enough, when it comes to Ghost, the requirement was always there. Not sure, whether it's Sony's doing or simply Valve doing the same thing GMG did after getting the reports (and the Helldivers mess) that the game requires PSN account to play multiplayer.

Yeah, but the requirement was for the coop. PSN linking for story mode was required ONLY if I want the PS overlay. And I was completely fine with it. But they don't want my money. What can I do? Besides, I got my money back. Sorta. I'm not gonna seethe over it and join the raging crowd.

I'll just have to find my own way around it.

Well, the email above says it's required to play portions of the game, so I assume not much changed in that regard.

Not much. But it was sold in the region. That's why I pre-ordered it, thinking PSN account linking was completely optional for single player story mode only. I would've tried to link a burner account that I've prepared just to see what happens. But then they just suddenly decided to pull the rug from under our feet, thinking that if we can't access Legends anyway, might as well boot us all out. That's what's changed.

Well, seeing as the game is unlikely to introduce any anti-piracy measures, seems like there's at least another way to get it.

I just happened to find some comedy in all this with that "cheers" bit. LOL
