Remember the "free" version has no DRM and requires no PSN account!
It was announced today that the "free" version of Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT will require no PSN account and have no DRM! Happy sailing to all sailors!

I am sure the "free" version would not have multiplayer either so what is the difference?

Also plenty of "free" versions end up having multiplayer.
