Yes. They've also fixed the lip animation synching issues when playing in Japanese VOs. So it won't be as distracting or annoying as it was when it first came out.

It has Japanese voiceovers and also an optional black and white film grain filter so it looks like a Kurosawa film. It's a cool feature but I didn't use it too long, the colors were too nice to leave off.

Coming from PS5, I can confirm that you can select Japanese voice dialogue and will also give you the option to add subtitle, whether it's English, Japanese, Korean, etc.

A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Well thats kind of lame that the game was originally written and voiced in English. It's based in Japan and from a Japanese publisher. They should have took pointers from Sekiro.

I played ps5 version, I can recommend japanese voices. I had no issues with lip sync personally.

Unfortunately, Sony Interactive Entertainment and PlayStation are an American company these days. There was very little Japanese involvement in development and publishing of GoT, if I remember correctly.

Playing in japanese makes any difference? (apart from being more realistic and historically accurate).

I mean, is this like the Shogun series i.e., in which there are some characters speaking japanese and all the others in english and if i play in english everyone will talk in english regardless their origin?

If the voiceover is set to Japanese, everybody speaks Japanese, apart from the occasional Mongolian you'll hear from the.. err.. Mongols. The same goes if it's set to English, then everybody speaks English apart from the Mongols.

It's worse than that, the English voice acting gives him a stereotypical Japanese accent. Usual racist fare to please a deeply ethnocentrist mentality.

Most characters in Shogun speak Japanese, only Jack and Mariko, plus minor characters speak English (when they should be speaking Portuguese, another non-sensical choice in favor of dumbing down, doesn't matter if the original book is in English as it is a different media).

... I honestly can't believe you would even ask if it makes a difference. You clearly have no appreciation for art and culture.
