So to use Legends mode I have to already have PSN?
...and then link that to Steam? Say what? They won't be hosting separate PC servers for multiplayer? I have to actually pay for PSN to access multiplayer...on my PC?

That would be like having Elden Ring require playstation network in order to have multiplayer.

A bit surprised about this.

You don't have to pay for it, it's free. You may be confusing it with PS Plus which is there paid online subscription. A PSN account is required because of crossplay.
