Some moves are too OP?
In my experience, parrying makes switching stances not that important. Also, water stances hold heavy attack is op against literally anything when fully upgraded. I used it to kill brutes super fast, it also kills leaders really quickly lol. I just find it funny, because of this I find no need to use moon stance. For me the stances are more of a style thing now.

Stances to kill each type, once you get the slaughter option leaders are one shots! You can always just chop through with any stance, it just depends it you want to do it with style or button mashing

Styles have only two advantage over each other: huge stagger damage to the right enemies and cancelling the rights one's attack with heavies so you dont need to dodge/parry. Gosaku armor love staggering, this is where stance switching shines the most.
Otherwise the game give you a dozen one shot weapons to use at once. It's a general design philosophy of this game.
if i could remove 1 skill from the game to improve it, itd be "iron will".
a revival skill shouldnt exist, its difficult enough for the enemies to get you down, it shouldnt be almost impossible. or atleast its cost should be 5 balls. that skill kills the tension in battles, it does more harm than good.

I use stances because I suck at parrying, I blame my reduced reflexes at 59 :D

I mean ...that's the optimal way to play the game ..you can still parry

There's a charm that makes parrying easier. I forgot where you get it but I think I got it on an Izuhara mission.

There is also the suspicion that some times parry is unresponsive so you also have that working against you lol.

True it is the Mizu-No-Kami, from a water shrine. I confirm it does help a bit but doesnt feel OP imo as the window is still quite small (which i like tbh)

great thing about Tsushima's combat is its depth, you can play shallow with a focus on parry/dodge and followup, or you can go really deep with the styles, combos, ghost weapons, etc. there are absurd broken builds that abuse terrify/resolve refunding (and sarugami/tadayori) but it's your choice whether to use them vs something more balanced. not to mention the differences between difficulties. Lethal is awesome.

it's a NG+ thing but there's a charm that disables it
