console players cant afford the luxury of life so they complain.
If you choose to label yourself as a Pc gamer, and label others as console gamers, you are stereotyping people based on the platforms they play games on...
Just be a person who enjoys games, avoid clinging to a label... And you wont notice things like that...

To come back to the question, I also don't understand. Usually, if you have a PS console AND care so much about it, then you don't have a PC. So... how does it affect you.
Nonsense.
No it does not invalidate anything. You get a lot for the investment into a console, a lot more than just games. Having a console is still more affordable than pc gaming. A $500 pc, is a potato next to a modern console.
Console developers are not putting out enough games. That is why some console gamers are frustrated.
