Legendary mode: stance master perk for swords

In the Legendary mode, I noticed that epic swords have a stance master perk that empowers the attacks for the sword's natural stance (a stone katana, for example, can have a stone master perk).
Legendary swords don't have that option. Is this perk always active for legendary swords or they just can't use it?

Correct, all legendary katanas come with the stance fully mastered.
