Why is it ALWAYS raining??
I'm almost done with the game and it hasn't been nice weather even once. I play the flute once every 5 to 10 minutes its driving me insane, I could play the flute in real life by now...

lots of people have explained it better than me but essentially the way you play the game dictates the weather, playing stealthier (like a ghost) makes the weather rain more often than sunshine. Whereas fighting honorably, taking standoffs and such and not sneak attacking people makes the weather more clear.
wait so to have the awesome rain all was i need to kill sneaky awesome

Can't wait for a mod that takes this mechanic out of the game. The island is beautiful, but the constant rain just makes me want to fast travel everywhere.

Use your flute. The starting song clears up the weather.

I play mostly stealthy so this could be true.

It only constantly rains when your Ghost Stance meter is full/near full. If it is empty, play the clear skies song and it will most likely remain clear skies until you start killing enemies again and rack up the ghost stance meter.

This is all it is based on. Not your 'playstyle'.

which is just dumb. I'm playing without stealth, using only sword and rarely bow. but as long as you're good at parries, you always get rainy weather, as my ghost stance meter fills up in a matter of minutes:(

Yeah agreed. Especially when you use Ghost Armor since that requires less kills to fill it:(

The issue is how much more the game weighs stealth against honor. I did way more stand offs at outposts than stealth take downs and it was raining for me more often than it was sunny.

Seemingly any attack against unaware opponent is stealth. even if you just jump from your horse mid gallop to start the fight that way.

you either wait for dumb ai to realize you're standing in front of them, or you get downpour.
