how tf do you skip credit scene when the 'esc' button is locked to menu button?

I cant skip the damn credit scene to start a new game+ cause the button that they use to skip the credit uses 'esc' and its locked to menu button. so whenever the prompt appears and I press 'esc' it just goes into menu mode and when i press it back, it goes back to credit scene... I also cant wait for it cause if i alt tab, it pauses the damn game.

I play using Xbox gamepad and I am pretty sure all I did was press the B button and it immediately skipped the credits. I certainly didn't sit and watch them all the way through, I know that much.

Have you tried remapping the button in the option?

Ah sorry for the bad info then, it didn't register to me that you were on KB/M. Apologies.
Not sure if you still need this info or not as I imagine those credits will be long done by now for you lol but just in case.. I did read that for KB/M hitting spacebar will skip it but also there is a mod on Nexus designed for skipping the ending credits as well that might be helpful.

tried the space bar, didn't seem to work. I prefer not to install mods just to skip credit scene. already have too many apps and files for other game's mods lol.. anyway ...ah well, sucks but ima just pass this one and give up.
