GOT stuttering issue
Hi guys. I have recently bought this game cuz I enjoyed a lot in PS5. Love playing it in high FPS but the only issue is the stuttering. Really annoys the S out of me.

Are they planning to do any fix on this problem? Or do we just have to deal with it.

I use Ryzen 5900X and RTX 4090. The specs should not be an issue.

What's funny is that my brother is using 3080ti, intel 9700K and he is not getting any of these issue.

Thank you.

First of all, the game has a memory fragmentation issue that causes it to stutter increasingly over time. There's nothing you can really do about this, but the faster your ram and the more vram you have, the longer it will take to manifest. My general recommendation would be to restart the game every 2 hours or so.

With that said, there are other sources of stutters people are encountering. A major one is antivirus real time scans hitting the game's files, so make sure you've got the game's directory excluded from scans or your AV's real time scans are completely turned off while you play. If you're using windows defender, go to windows security > virus and threat protection settings > exclusions, and make sure your steam library locations are excluded.

It seem the more powerful Cards are getting the issues.....
Got a INtel 9700K and just a Nvidia RTX2070
And it plays super smoth all high settings. I played 5 hours without releoad and not a single stuttering. I came to conclusion that the game seems to be super optimized.

I'm on a better processor (7800X3D) but lower GPU (3080 Ti) and I have no stutter at all at 4k. I have also never encountered this memory issue people claim the game has despite hours-long sessions.

first try updating all ur drivers, graphics updates, pc updates, steam client updates n game new patchs updates all that..

in game settings
try
- dlss
-quality
upscaling - off
-nvidia low latency - off / on boost <<
-frame generation - off

graphics settings in game
try lowering ur resolution nd other settings from very high to medium
fullscreen vs exclusive fullscreen ( try both, watever it feels betters, choose that for urself )

also ur pc graphics settings / nvidea settings - everything should be on performance mode only ..

try setting those game settings on its game launcher window nd then start up the game..

turn down texture setting from very high to high solve this issue for me ( on a 4090)

I have a 4090 as well, with a 12700k, I do get the occasional stutter until about an hour or 2 and then they become more frequent. Maybe you have some kind of issue with your ram, heat issue or something running in the background that shouldn't be. What settings?

I have the same specs as op, well two lots. A 5900x and 4090 and a 5800x3d with a 4090.

Both have the game installed on 2tb Samsung 980 Pro nvmes and both have 32GB ram, ram and cpus tuned on both systems.

I have no issue with stuttering on either system but I must stress I rarely play for more than 2 hours at a time.

I would check your background processes, consider temporarily disabling any rgb software as in my experience that can cause micro stutter in some games.
