As I know what you're trying to say, i have to agree with you.
I don't think you're trying to say it's the best game ever because it's beautiful.
You're not saying the nitty gritty textures on every tree branch, ground dirt or pathway is of the highest quality standard @ 8k special special special known to the universe.
You just mean that from moment to moment you could stop and simply stare at what is happening on screen and bask in the beauty of it all. The wind, the movement of everything, the framing, the colours, the weather and rain, the lighting, the MOOD etc..That's it.
The art is phantastic, LOD quite good. But thats it. Game uses a lot of tricks to make it run on older hardware.
Which isn't bad by itself. But in terms of overall graphics. Rdr 2 isn't beat yet except maybe by cyberpunk with a nasa pc.
Well fair enough but since we are all talking about overall best graphics here. Impossible to not mention rdr 2. That said. I can't run modern games with maxed settings anyway so eh.
No, we're talking about "most beautiful game ever" not "overall best graphics".
That's the problem with 13th century Japan, it wasn't filled with modern grey buildings.
In the same time, from artistic perspective it is insanely beautiful. But same can be achieved with 2d, hand drawn whatever, it's all about artistic choices and style.
While CP2007 goes for realism and photo quality.
Very strange comparison overall
Red dead 2 looks boring real world....
