Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT

Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT

Statistiche:
Duels really undermine the whole idea of the game
No skills or abilities, that's some BS, to be trampled by some blind dude in a cave non stop because I can't use anything else than the slowpoke awful melee

Enemies get super speed, block almost everything, pass through your defense easily, and they even force you to die several times until you get the option to retreat, what a massive pile of ****

Cherry on top it resets the quest right to the start and no option to skip.

Dodge and parry. It isn't hard.
Just parry and dodge without spamming. But I guess that would be a bit too difficult for you, especially the no spamming part.
i beat him in Lethal, took a few tries to learn his patterns since he changes often but it's about finesse

being bad and angry is not okay!
duels are the best part

This game is total BS, you can go into the DLC right after act 1 but the game forces you to basically finish the DLC to be able to come back.

The duel bosses of the DLC take like 50 attacks to die, but can kill you in 2 attacks, and are way faster than you. Makes a lot of sense.
You were given a warning that you should proceed with the dlc later, and that you wouldn't be able to come back to the main land right away. Just do a couple of the main quests for iki island and you will open up a route back to the main land.
I can go back without completing the DLC?
massive skill issue
By the time you get to that Duel you should be able to Duel like a boss and take him out first or second try. All you have to do is learn his weak spot and exploit it like any other boss in every video game ever... And the hardest duel is by far the first one you encounter, Ryuzo. Duels are by far one of my favorite parts of the game because it breaks up the otherwise rinse repeat process of constantly liberating Mongol Camps and chasing birds and foxes around the island...lol... You should be begging to get kilt by the time you have chased 40 birds...

Perfect Parry, Perfect Dodge, Heavenly Strike, and Dance of Wrath are not abilities? Same with Ghost Stance, no? All you need is to learn their moveset and outplay them without your usual crutches.
Agreed. Though it can definitely be quite frustrating at times but yeah, that's pretty much it.

That's some Stockholm fantasies right there, so the player who choose to specialize on the bow and ghost weapons are forced into combats that require skills they don't even have?

And we can't even travel back to get those and other gear? This game makes ubisoft games look amazing by comparison.
How dare the sword game occasionally require you to use a sword! Also none of these skills are required to win, you just said there were none available, so I listed the available skills.

And the game does in fact let you travel back since it asks you if you wish to abandon the current mission if you die enough times. Why do you feel the need to lie to support your argument? How much is ubisoft paying you per post? I hope you at least get money and they aren't just dumping their scrapped nft project on you lmao

I like how none of these comments get what you mean.

Bro is trying to say, there is no reason for our dude, THE SAMURAI WHO SNEAKS AROUND, to 1v1 a guy in the current game.

Our dude's ENTIRE STORYLINE is him going, wow, I probably shouldn't put myself at a disadvantage for no reason, and then duels make it so you put yourself at a disadvantage for no reason.

like, let me throw Kunais or sticky bombs mid-duel, and pull out my bow to shoot him in the knee! my character is a bastard, let me be a bastard. not that hard.

I think Jin is always wrestling with the ways he learned growing up with this new style acquired out of necessity....which is why he does all the "under handed" stealth tactics but then will duel 1v1 with adversaries that are alone and are important.
I think the duels are fun but disappointingly easy, if you are having trouble with them it’s a massive skill issue and you just need to get better at reading parries and dodges.
Assuming you're playing on lethal, some of the duels can be frustrating because of enemy attack priority plus the speed at which they come out. That said, nobody has more than three real patterns, so after a few attempts you should be able to manage.

You're probably playing too aggressively if you're struggling, again due to enemy attacks having priority. The only time you want to be aggressive is if you've significantly reduced their posture and can get a break for some free hits.
Bro definitely didn't play elden ring.
