Things like the boss being dead (silly to argue that it's a bluff when it is not, the only bluff is the samurai), dialogue from after the final fight, the fate of certain characters are more or less revealed in the Iki Island

He starts stating the scouts Eagle sent are dead, Koten Khan is dead and his army defeated, tomorrow a thousand samurai will join him on the shores of Iki, surrender and they will spare the Eagle. He says this as she is filling the bowl with the medicine at that exact time in the cutscene, well before taking it. It was entirely a bluff out of his panic and fear.
