Iki, ASAP or wait ?
every thread i read its divided,
some says play ASAP, unlock the goodies and cool stuffs first so u have more time to play around in act 3
some says no, its story spoiler, play after main story end

idk what to do, 1st playthrough btw

im still in tsushima ofc, stopped after the game says "speak to boatman", realizing this is a dlc (wish they mark it better, didnt know its an expansion)
still in act 2, still got few main quests left

I played it pretty much as soon as i got to act 2. I also dont see how it can be a story spoiler it seemed to tie in nicely for me. It also is harder but you should be alright at this stage of the game.

This is what I did, do some of Iki main quests, this isn't a choice, once you go to Iki you can't teleport back to Tsushima until you clear some of the main quests, then play all the mythic quests to unlock cool stuffs, go back to finish the base game then come back for Iki main quest later.

Keeping it balanced huh?

As long as we can teleport back n forth, i guess.

I found some spoilers and imperfections in the story... but not too obvious.
if you play the dlc first.

It very much spoils the main story in (I believe) the second main mission of Iki.
I was actually incredibly annoyed that it doesn't warn you beforehand.
Jin casually throws out a MAJOR main story spoiler that chronologicallymade no sense to where I was in the main game.

Luckily I already played the main story on ps4.

Aside from that, there is a huge audio bug in the game right now, that is (mostly) prominent on Iki. It is so bad, I decided to stop playing until they fix it.

In my opinion, avoid iki until you at least finish main story.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, what kind of audio bug? Game breaking?

I'm mostly done with things in ACT 2 and went to IKI i think this is the perfect time, if you leave Iki for later then you have a very brief time with all the new stuff you get from the Island. (unless you do NG+)

Depends on your tolerance, I suppose.
It mutes all audio except music and breathing, and only fix for it is restarting to checkpoint.
Makes for a very frustrating combat experience, and ruins immersion completely.

Happens rarely in the main game, but consistently on iki.

I suggest you look it up on google.
Oh, and any "fixes" are 100% placebo. You can't stop it from happening.

Damn, what a shame
No word of fixes from devs yet?

I "think" they said they're looking into it.
I know they're working on a bigger patch right now, but not sure if this will be in it or not.

Between that and the memory leak issue right now, I just decided to wait.
Which is very unfortunate cause the game's got me hooked.

Don't play until you're done with the main story. For some reason they don't put a warning about that up in-game.

Do NOT go to Iki until they fix the audio bug. It will follow you back to to Tsushima. Make the game unplayable.

iki also gives the saddle bag doubling your ammo so id say work up to that plus the new horse armor and you can leave it till base game is finished

This, it's what I'm doing.

More likely the audio bug is just random and not related to any specific place.
I did the game almost to 100% (minus raids which requires multiplayer - meh, and ng+ which I only started to look at ng+ items) and the only place I had audio issues was 2-3 missions of chapter 2. Never on Iki, nor any other place.
