AMD - Do I have the same problem as you?
I have an AMD Nitro+ Radeon RX 7800 XT and (pc tuned to recommended hardware requirements) up to date drivers, previously was 24.4.1 after 24.5.1 problems began, at first, 20h was without problem, the game ran smoothly and 165 fps I had but no problems. After so many hours of playing, the game stopped abruptly but the pc continued to run, I checked that everything was ok with the pc, there were no problems. Is it the fault of the game that this is happening? I want to make sure that even though 2 patches have already been released, there are still the same problems with AMD Graphics Cards. Is it the case that this problem I am having is due to problems in the game? Are there any ways to fix this game?

I have 7900 XTX and didnt had a single freeze or bug.
From your description its hard do understand whats happening. The game is running but stopped?

Its not necessary thats an AMD issue, please describe your problem more exactly

7800XT cards seem to have stability issues with the game, my game has crashed several times due to a driver issue (AMD reference 7800XT). What helped was to roll back to driver version 24.4.1

Sorry I didn't describe my problem very well, so I'll try to describe it better

What I meant was that while playing the game, the game suddenly stops, I only have a steady image, no black screen or anything like that, but the pc keeps going, I can't do anything, I'm left with Task Manager to quit the game. Then a message pops up that I am using too high hardware requirements than my pc should have, or also that the graphics card is overheated, I used a graphics card monitoring program, it reached 60 degrees celsius, the processor 60-70 degress (even though, that I built the pc half a year ago) and the talk about also the old drivers of the graphics card (I update on a regular basis, I tried to install the old drivers, after installing the old drivers, I also have the same problem), only thing is that in the AMD GPU software, I have Super Resolution and Anti-lag fired up, I also turned them off and I had the same problem. I have tried to find solutions on the internet, but no fix so far

I believe it must be the video driver, because it’s not possible that with 2 patches, the issue hasn’t been resolved.

Running 24.3.1 drivers on my XFX 7800XT and aside from visual glitches near waterfalls, the game hasn't suffered any crashes. I'm thinking the issues lies with the 24.5.1 drivers, I'd go back to 24.4.1 while waiting for the next driver update.

What drop dead said is correct, its with the driver unfortunately, goto amds website and download the 24.4.1 driver and install it it should automatically roll it back for you after install and that will fix the issue, i was having the same issue with my pc getting that same error. Rolled back the drivers and now it never crashes

I have the same gpu (nitro+ 7800xtx) and the same experience. Played for 30 hours and it was flawless. Suddenly I had some flickering grahics issue. It was intermittent. I quit the game to do some research and saw there was a new amd driver (24.5.1) with a patch for this game. I installed the driver and all hell broke loose. Game crashes after maybe an hour. Most times just to desktop. A few times I had to kill task the game. I rolled back the driver to 24.4.1 and it still crashes. I have tried almost everything I can find including shutting down all radeon options, lowering resolution, disabling options in the game for fsr and other. Tried right click the exe and launch as admin, a clean install of 24.4.1, killing tons of system tasks to free resources, did a game file scan through steam, did a sfd /scannow test, checked for windows updates....etc.

After 30 perfect hours and it just starts constantly crashing, and a game patch that same day it started, I say its the game for sure.

7900XTX user here: Same here, no bugs what so ever. GoT seems to be one of the games that runs perfectly with this card!

Yeah. Buttery smooth game with 7900xtx. People on 7800xt seems to get the short end of the stick.

I would recommend them to disable all overlays and undervolt, maybe set power limit to –10.

Helldiver 2 is an example where i have to set –10 pl on my xtx for the game to not crash. Hasn't crash since.

Ghost runs fine with my stable UV though.

As for people on nvidia. I would recommend turning reflex off. My RTX 3060 laptop runs this game on high preset at 1080p with fsr3 and no frame gen . No crash or memory leakage. I ran dlss with reflex on and off, experienced framedrops after a period of time

Its all ungabunga at the moment but give it a go.

You're using AMD hardware, so the problem is definitely hardware deep

Misinformation would be saying that AMD GPU's are high quality and worth purchasing. THAT'S misinformation.
