Sad sad game

Finished the game finally. Found it to be emotionally sad. I really got into the character and the NPCs. Very beautiful game. For some reason it wouldn't let me press "C" at the end however. Looking forward to a Ninja based game like this. I'd liked to have known the name of the Shogun (Saikai's Shogun) though.

Hojo Takimune was the shikkai at the time of tsushima invasion. basically he had the kamakura shogunate under his influence.

the name of the shogun at the time may require further research though, but based on my brief search, its all about takimune.

It is, actually, I agree.
And while the whole of the game is a (quite well written) cliché, some characters have very touching stories. I think of the old lady Yuriko here.
If you have not taken the time to do her tale, do it to the end, I recommand.
