I don't personally believe it's overrated, however it certainly isn't some masterpiece as claimed, it's a good solid interactive experience, however for me it is certainly a 1 and done type of game.

I don't think that highly of a generic open world, subpar variant of the already heavily boring arkham combat and 50 hours of unskippable cutscenes myself
