Download failed: error writing to disk

Problme with you disk or full disk.

200 GB free of a 1 TB disk. Other games can be downloaded successfully.

This can be a chaching problem, you don't know how this game handles download and how large or conmpressed are the files.

Try installing on a larger drive or making space on your existing one.

I've been playing the game without any issues since its release. After a 300 MB patch, it's no longer playable XD

I freed up an additional 200 GB, but there was no change.

lmao just reboot and try to update, it's probably crashed game process hanging in the background

all downloading and patching is done by steam anyway, so it's useless to ask for help from game devs

nothing to do with "chaching" or how "conmpressed" are the files, you shouldn't talk about what you don't know

seems your main objective is just finding a way to blame the user

had today the same but not with this game. think steam ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up. the way to fix it is to set steam client run as admin
