The game certainly seems to have a number of issues some groups of people are encountering like this, audio issues on Iki island, etc. It will be interesting to see if this is an in-game issue or related to drivers or something else.
About the Iki Island audio glitch, could you tell me how to fix it? I wanted to start it tomorrow so it might come in handy in case it happens
What I can tell you does help, though...
My personal fix is to go to settings > Audio > Audio output and just swap it over one and then back then exit menu. Can solve it for a dozen minutes or 3 minutes... varies.
Others reported in another thread swapping armor fixes it briefly like above but this did nothing for me oddly.
Exiting and reopening the game fixed it for me but takes way longer and only resolved it, again, for a variable time (think like 4 minutes when I tested this method so just not worth it unless other bugs start to pop up).
I have not experienced any sort of total loss of audio on Iki Island like all audio muted permanently or intermittently. I've only had specific sound channels become muted, instead, such as looting items, bow shooting noise effects, ambient nature sounds like wind, etc. while others continue working when this occurs so it may be more complex and maybe that is why the armor method didn't work for me (though that method is such an odd fix anyways lol).
I bet everyone has this bug. Is not gamebreaking and not very noticeable, so that's probably why not many people is reporting it. Also, many people even will probably think that it's an engine limitation, not knowing that the PS4/5 versions looks fine.
I hope they fix it. It's the only bug that makes me break the immersion.
I had my hopes up when I saw "Various visual bug fixes" but no, they didn't fix one of the most visible visual bugs.
