besides the FPS bump what are the other advantages over Playstation version?
I own the PS4 Disc and I play the game on PS5, the game already runs flawlessly on 60fps and high resolution with checkerboard it's not that bad, it looks pretty good and better on my OLED TV with HDR, in order to play the PS5 version I have to pay for the director's cut (about $30) or sub to PS plus extra, but I heard there are no meaningful upgrades in graphics, so I don't own that version of the game. my question would be what are the other PC advantages, I know I could run the game 120FPS with my 4070ti but the PS4 version on PS5 already runs buttery smooth. I wanna know if there are any FOV sliders since I found the fighting a bit narrow with the view. is the input lag better? I mean when using the bow it's not as easy to aim with controller sticks as other games like forbidden west, but it's not as bad as Elden Ring even on PC is bad. is there a cross save option? that would awesome to play the game back and for between PC and PS5. these aspects would me decide if the I wanna own the game on PC, I found ghost of tsushima a very good open world game, I actually take my time going from point A to point B. I hope they do a 2nd game SuckerPunch is a great developer.

All of my old saves were there after I linked my old PSN account. There's some texture and LOD upgrades along with slightly better lighting and shadows (HBAO+ and the superior XeGTAO do add to the visual flair for shadows). It's still basically a PS4 title in terms of overall visuals. The art style saves it given the actual graphical flourishes aren't anything to write home about. Yes, there is a FOV slider. There's also support for NV's reflex low latency stuff. Plus you'll have access to mods.

that's awesome, the FOV slider it's gonna make a more enjoyable experience. it doesn't bother me that's a PS4 title, it looks way better than recent titles, for example I was playing starfield before it and I found ghost of tsushima a better looking game. Yes the art style helps and the atmosphere with night and day transitions looks superb. I'll be looking to get it on PC. Thanks mate.

For one...you aren't a console kid if you don't play on consoles.

It's on PC.

Thats literally it. Thats the answer. It's on PC. Therefore, it is better.

The PC advantage is that more people have access to the game and it makes more money for Sony.

The PC advantage for players is only an advantage if Sony puts effort into optimizing the port for PC. Ideally, you should get a more tailored experience instead of having to choose between "Graphics" and "Performance." In a perfect world, you should get both graphics and performance.

PCs are typically more powerful than consoles. That doesn't mean that PS5 games are going to run better on PC.

If you have that much money to burn, donate it to someone who needs help.

higher than 60fps is a lie on pc because it breaks the basic mechanics of the game, anyone who wants to play it normally locks it to 60fps...

Mostly LOD, The port is so Lame that they didn't even improve the textures or add any form of Raytracing

You can check out the DF review, which points out some of the graphical advantages. Off the top of my head it was rendering resolution (checkerboard rendering on PS5, meaning it has a pixelated appearance) and grass rendering distance. These two I consider major advantages, along with 120 fps (with frame generation), but in general consoles typically use a mix of medium/high settings, so there are minor improvements you can expect on PC by bumping up the settings.

There's an FOV slider, yes, but no cross saves. As for input lag, all else being equal, the PC will have a slight advantage over PS5 due to it setting 60 hz for 60 fps games. It might be noticeable if you're sensitive to input lag.
